Health Confidence Survey
Since 1998, the Health Confidence Survey (HCS) has tracked a broad
spectrum of health care issues, including Americans’ satisfaction with health care, their confidence in the health care system of today, the future of the health care system and the Medicare program, and their attitudes toward health care reform. The survey aims to be timely and comprehensive. The survey has addressed such topics as health care quality, employment-based health benefits and the cost of coverage, choice of health plan, managed care, the uninsured, Medicare, long-term care, prescription drugs, and retiree health benefits. The HCS is sponsored by EBRI and Mathew Greenwald & Associates, Inc., a Washington, DC-based market research firm.
